A little about me…
Hello and Welcome To My Little Corner Of The Internet!
It means a lot to me that you’ve stayed long enough to read my about section!
I was born and raised on a family farm in east-central Alberta, but I’ve called Calgary home for the past 20 years. After high school, I set off to chase my big-city dreams—fueled by a Sex and the City obsession and fully convinced I’d be the next Carrie Bradshaw. But it didn’t take long to realize that while I love a good latte and a power blazer, I’m a little more country than I thought.
I married the perfect partner for me, and together we’re raising two incredible kids. Though I love city life, I still carry my farm roots with me and make it a priority to bring my children back to the farm as often as I can. Watching my “city kids” experience the same simple joys I grew up with fills my heart.
After my daughter was born, I made the leap from the corporate world into entrepreneurship, hoping to gain more time for my family. While “more time” turned out to be a bit of a myth, what I did gain was freedom, flexibility, and a life that aligns with my values—and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.
These days, you’ll find me spending just about all of my free time at the rink or the ball diamond. I’m a proud hockey mom, softball mom, and baseball mom—fully embracing my “sports mom” era and loving every minute of it!
